Bushman is defined as one who heals via natural medicine. This aptly describes Mr. Dwight Duncan aka Bushman whom, instead of using herbs and leaves to treat mankind’s woes; his pancreas for an ailing society is soulful roots music. Inspired by His Imperial Majesty Emperor Haile Selassie the First of Ethiopia, Bushman feeds a troubled world with hard-hitting social commentary served over rugged Dancehall rhythms. He himself has been compared to some of the greats in Reggae. His baritone vocals has often been compared to that of a Peter Tosh, Dennis Brown and Luciano whom Bushman admits, is a dominant influence in his career.
