Composer of Symphonic Rock |
Stephen Caudel was born in Sheffield, Yorkshire, England. He attended the City of Leeds College of Music and it was here that he first started to be drawn to progressive or symphonic rock. His first symphony was "Wine Dark Sea" and was premiered at London's Victoria Palace with the Wren Orchestra conducted by Louis Clark of "Hooked on Classics" and ELO fame. After "Wine Dark Sea" came the demand for live performances and over the years Stephen toured extensively in Britain and overseas, including 3 nights at the Royal Albert Hall as Special Guest of Art Garfunkel. "The Earth in Turquoise" is Stephen's latest symphonic rock composition. In addition it has been featured extensively on the Virgin FM Rock Show.
Stephen currently lives in Cumbria where he splits his time between music and designing web sites.
